Nivedita knew she wanted to study mobile development when she came to Pace, where she had created apps for Android and Google Glass. She chose Pace’s Seidenberg School because of the sheer number of varied courses in the computer science field, for its Manhattan location, and for its relationships to numerous tech companies large (Google, Microsoft, Apple) and small. She currently has a full-time Graduate Assistantship in online communications at Pace’s Lubin School of Business, which provides her with invaluable real world experience.
A U.S. Air Force veteran transitioning to civilian life, Preston feels very welcome at Pace’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems as he began his Master’s program. He credits the faculty and staff for being proactive in getting to know students and providing professional networking opportunities on and off-campus. His first courses in multiple programming languages and environments led to an internship at Infor working on new application development, thanks to Pace Career Services.
